While I do occasionally love a good round of “let’s see what kind of sick bastards found my site through Google”, I’m usually more interested in finding referrer links and seeing how in the hell I got referenced on someone’s site.
This one may beat ’em all.
Not only is my site listed first under “Recommended Resources For 2004 Rockefeller Tree Lighting Speeches”, they just linked directly to my November 2004 archive, which is apparently full of drunkenness, debauchery, and multiple references to Gordon Jump, child molester.
But the best part is the section they pulled from the site, thinking they were getting an upstanding reference to the Rockefeller Center tree lighting:
If Hillary Duff is headlining with Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey at the Rockefeller Center tree lighting ceremony (sometime soon on NBC), what has Vegas set as the odds that not only does Nick bang Hillary, but Jessica sticks with him afterwards? I’m thinking its a favorable 3-to-1, tops.
Awesome.
Be sure to come back for the 2005 tree lighting tips, it’s only a few short weeks away!
Stupid question- but you check your referrer links through a counter, right?
I once worked in Rockefeller Center- and I had to work on the tree-lighting day. So many freakin people it took me 20 minutes to walk one block through the crowd. I bumped into a pre-skank phase Jewel, who didn’t have her makeup on and was in desperate need of the same.
Best part though, a week before they put the tree up, we got an e-mail telling us not to open the windows “because of snipers.”
